Why ODIC and DRUGS Matters
Awareness is the first step toward prevention. Through ODIC initiatives, communities can learn about the risks of drug abuse, recognize early signs, reduce stigma, and connect individuals with the support they need to move toward a healthier life.
OUR WORK FOR A DRUG-FREE & HEALTHIER COMMUNITY
We work with communities to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse, promote prevention, and encourage individuals to seek timely support. Through awareness programmes, counselling, community participation, and outreach initiatives, we aim to build healthier, safer, and drug-free communities.

Drug Abuse Awareness
Educating individuals and communities about the risks of drug use, its impact on health and families, and the importance of prevention.

Counselling & Support
Providing guidance, counselling, and support to individuals affected by substance use and connecting them with appropriate services when needed.

Community Participation
Encouraging youth, families, and local communities to participate in awareness activities and work together to prevent drug abuse.
Drug Abuse Prevention & Awareness
Educational Outreach & Workshops
To spread critical awareness and prevent early experimentation, our foundation conducts interactive drug awareness workshops across schools, colleges, and local communities. The programme educates youth on the physical, mental, and social consequences of substance abuse, supported by expert-led discussions, counselling sessions, and open dialogues that empower students to make healthy choices.
Peer Support & Youth Engagement
Building a strong support system is vital for recovery and prevention. We engage students, youth volunteers, and local mentors to form active peer-led support networks. These groups promote healthy lifestyles, positive mental health, resilience-building activities, and safe spaces for young people to seek guidance without judgment.
Rehabilitation & Community Action
The foundation promotes comprehensive rehabilitation through practical, community-led initiatives that connect affected individuals and their families with professional counselling, medical support, and de-addiction resources. The programme includes helpline services, family support circles, and social reintegration activities, encouraging communities and local stakeholders to stand together against drug abuse.
