From the Chief Executive’s Desk
Looking back, the organization feels highly satisfaction and achievement. Though the beginning was slow and lacking the focused oriented interventions but gradually our various interventions become focused and target oriented. Each year successful and learning add to the strength to the organization which further motivates us to produce better results in forthcoming years.
The year 2024-2025 was mainly focused on Drug Abuse Prevention and drug demand reduction, health and many types of awareness campaign including service delivery initiatives among the needy and poor section of the society. In addition, new initiative in terms of running of skill building programme with focus on vocational trainings etc. As a part of educational programme, we continued to work on both formal and non-formal education with special focus on poor and backward community children.
On the other hand, health programme emphasized on HIV/AIDS especially focus on Injecting Drug User’s (IDUs) and related issues and mother and child health care.
At one hand, we are happy to execute programme successfully with our hardworking and committed team but still search to have second line leadership is continued. However, we have started to have concentrated efforts to have second line leadership in the organization.
Lastly, we think that there is need to initiate the process of developing the pool of resources in order to give sustainable nature to the organization so that dependency on outside resources needs to reduce. Although, this journey is long but we stand for taking such initiative.

I shall fail in my duty, if I do not acknowledge the contribution of organization’s Board Members’ and the committed and dedicative cadre of workers. And the people with whom we work, who are found to be not only co-operative but also reliable.

Outreach and Drop-In Centre (ODIC)
The Outreach and Drop-In Centre (ODIC) is a community-based initiative supporting individuals, particularly youth, affected by substance use and those with limited access to healthcare and social services.
The programme provides a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment where individuals can access counseling, treatment referrals, psychosocial support, recreational activities, and family and group therapy. It also promotes awareness and prevention among youth and encourages substance users to seek recovery and treatment.
Our ODIC centre operates in West Delhi, close to identified substance-use hotspots, making essential support services easily accessible to the community.
To understand local needs, a Community Need Assessment was conducted through field observations, interviews, focus group discussions, and consultations with substance users, families, and community stakeholders. The findings help us design and deliver relevant, community-focused interventions.
